The house "El Mar" (The Sea) was given this name due to its impressive location on the top of a small cliff, standing as an unbeatable balcony over the spectacular changes of the Atlantic Ocean, day and night. Located on the north coast of Tenerife, as part of a small private housing development of only 12 houses, it is surrounded by banana plantations and exceptional views of the protected natural area of La Rambla Castro, where Canarian nature and the seashore can be enjoyed. Silence and privacy are fully assured: the swaying of the waves and the trilling of birds are the only sounds to be heard. Despite this unique geographical situation offering tranquility and relaxation, it is only 15 minutes away by car from Puerto de la Cruz, an important tourist enclave in the north of the island, and La Orotava, one of the most interesting historical cities of the island, where fine shops and all types of restaurants and cafés can be found. It is also an excellent location as a starting point to explore the rest of the island, and the host will be glad to provide information to help you enjoy it as a local. Though simply furnished, it is very comfortable, functional, and stylish. Fully equipped with TV, Wi-Fi, alarm system, jacuzzi, sauna, a small garden, and two marvelous terraces overlooking the sea. "Villa El Mar" features a sauna in one of the bathrooms and a jacuzzi in the garden.
